Teaching and Learning Syndicates
The School is divided into four syndicates. As we move through our years at Muritai School our children evolve like our local native birds. Each bird moves from the beach to the bush through our special turangawaewae.

Kororā
Year 1 and 2
Our Little Blue Penguin, moving around, in and out of places, they are very social. They are the smallest and closet to the beach. They are just beginning their learning journey.

Tūī
Year 3 and 4
Our loud and active Parson bird, darts quickly in and out of our native trees along the flats of Eastbourne. They are learning to find their way and explore who they are.
